Abandoning the blog...

I need to get into blogging and blog everyday if possible. But so far I have failed, so (one of) this years New Years Resolutions will be to try and blog a few times a week.

Summative Project!

So our final brief of the first semester was to create a booklet or something along those lines to summarise everything I have learnt so far. I chose to do a booklet and poster in one. Here is my attempt.

Delivered - Student Magazine

So I most recent brief was to create a front cover, contents and a double page spread for a magazine. I chose to create a student magazine that would be a free magazine when you buy an NUS student card. I wanted to make sure that it looked appealing to students, and to do this I decided that I should base it on something that students like. So after a bit of research I decided to follow the style of a pizza box/menu. Keeping with this theme the magazine would be delivered in a pizza box. I still have some alterations to do, but it's not far off finished.

So this has nothing to do with design, but yeah we all have Starbucks mugs!

Duane Hanson - Editorial Brief

This project was the second brief that we were given. We were asked to create a double page spread on a chosen artist or sculptor. I chose Duane Hanson, his work seems very old fashioned now, and that was the feel I wanted to create in the piece.
